Resins for compounders
Total wide range of natural resins in Polyethylene (PEHD, EVA, PELD), provides many options to help Polyproylene and Polystyrene compounders develop new innovative compounds in a lot of different fields, ranging from masterbatches to appliances.
All the flebility and properties required for a good compoundability are provided by the unique characteristics of Total materials.
Special applications. Specific and tailor-made compounds
To respond to the needs of some very specific and demanding markets, Total has developed specialty compounds such as electrically conductive compounds for industrial packaging industry. Bio-TPSeal®
Bio-TPSeal® is a proprietary alloy of metallocene PE and PLA (a polyester derived from natural resources).

Gasoline Tank: TPSeal®
The Rotomolding Solution to Meet Stringent CARB and EPA Fuel Permeation Regulations.
Twin layer: TPSeal® M3670 or M3671 outside with Polyamide Rilsan® ROTO 11 inside.
Product benefits
- Meets CARB (Californian Air Resources Board) requirements (<1.5g/m2/day)
- Ultra-low permeation to fuel CE10 (10% ethanol) – Meets EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) requirements (<1.5g/m2/day)
- Excellent permeation resistance to higher alcohol fuels
- Two layer composite system with excellent adhesion
- Can be used in multilayer structures:
- Critical to ensure low permeation, especially to alcohol containing fuels
- No loss of adhesion when tank is drilled and tapped or when mechanical inserts are installed
- Passes SAE J1241 motorcycle fuel tank lateral impact test
